This Flat Dark Earth model features a 4 inch cold hammer forged stainless steel barrel combat style sights and improved front and rear cocking serrations for reliable operation and fast handling.
It includes a MIL STD 1913 accessory mounting rail interchangeable backstraps and fully ambidextrous slide stop lever and magazine release. The polymer construction with replaceable steel frame slide rails and fixed 3 dot combat sights combined with the manual safety make this a versatile and user friendly pistol suited for duty personal defense and range use.

I like everything about my new FN 509 in FDE.
The size fits my hand perfectly, the grip angle is right for me and the heft of the pistol mitigates recoil very well. I’ve had the 509-C for several years and was always impressed with FN quality.
Of course GunPrime was awesome in every stop of the buying process. They offered the best price, had the item in stock and shipped it out next business day. They were also excellent in the communication as well- I received emails to confirm the order, one to provide the tracking number, another when it shipped and yet another when my FFL dealer was in possession of it.

This gun is very accurate out of the box, recoil is minimal, fit and finish is great . It fits my hand better than Glock and more comfortable to shoot , also the three dot helps with faster target acquisition.
